Supporting The Market at Virginia Tech

The Market of Virginia Tech provides healthy, nutritious, locally-sourced food to Hokie students in need. Your Chapter Cheers registration supports The Market and you can choose to give above the registration fee to help more students.

It costs $30 to provide a week’s worth of food to a Hokie served by The Market of Virginia Tech. Whatever you can give will make an impact.

The Market was made possible by Hema and Mehul Sanghani. Supported by a $1.5 million donation by the alumni couple, the university launched the innovative program to enhance food access for today’s Hokies earlier this year. The initiative provides up to 75 students at a time with enough fresh ingredients for seven days of meals each week.
